Are you an SME or sole trader? Have you been on a space mission with Tim Peake? Yes, No! Okay, in that case, you should know that Small Business Saturday is fast approaching. If you don’t know then keep reading.
Every year on the first Saturday of December across the UK, small businesses (as the name suggests) will be hosting events to promote their products and services. This year it will be held on the 3rd of December.
What is Small Business Saturday about? According to the team behind it:
‘Small Business Saturday UK is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign, which highlights small business success and encourages consumers to ‘shop local’ and support small businesses in their communities.‘
For information about Small Business Saturday, to check out local businesses in your area, or to register your interest, see –https://smallbusinesssaturdayuk.com/.
With this ‘shop local’ ethos in mind, The Let’s Go! Business Hub at Enterprise Enfield will showcase local talent by:
‘…holding a FREE Hub Open Day in its premises at Enfield Business Centre on Saturday 3rd December. The event celebrates Small Business Saturday – the national campaign to support, inspire and promote small businesses – and will be an opportunity for local start-up and existing business owners to get information, advice and guidance on areas such as starting up, business planning, sales, marketing, social media, managing and raising finance.’
So, whether you are an aspiring entrepreneur or a start-up, Enfield Business Centre is the place to be on Saturday the 3rd of December 2016. Make a note in your diary. It’s not to be missed!
Go along and support the local economy and who knows next year it may just be you with your own display!
By the way, this is not to be confused with the event held in the US after Thanksgiving!
