Hello there, and Happy New Year!
It’s January, you’ve already decided whether you can be bothered to do the New Year Resolutions ‘thing’. Whatever you decide, remember my advice from last week – be realistic. Do your research, gather as much information as you can and speak to people who have ‘been there and done that.’ Then go for it!
Something that you may decide to do, is to write a blog. Whether it is for business or pleasure, hopefully the information in this week’s blog will be helpful.
Whilst the examples primarily deal with business, there will still be useful ideas which can be applied to any type of blog.
Blogs are big business, so looking for examples of the good, the bad and the ugly of the blog world should be really straightforward. Blog subject matters range from good causes/charity, life experiences, fashion and food, just to name a few.
First of all what is a blog?
According to Kenneth Byrd of Blog Basics, a blog is:
A blog is a frequently updated online personal journal or diary. It is a place to express yourself to the world. A place to share your thoughts and your passions. See www.blogbasics.
The following websites are really useful as they have listed their own recommendations of top blogs. This should help you to gain information concerning business matters and get a good idea of how blogs work.
Whilst these blogs are just a small number of the many out there, I believe that they are a good representation.
If you want to start your own blog and don’t have the time or are not sure how to start, please get in touch with me at email@example.com or through the website http://pmnobleconsultancy.wix.com/1-pager-bio.
I would love you hear from you, and help you with your new blog in the New Year.
